This research is a 6-months scoping study into the contributions Service Design brings to Service Innovation and Development starting from service idea generation toward service implementation and measurement.
The purpose of this scoping study is to provide, through six qualitative case studies and a national and international survey, a first-step to creating a theoretical framework that will allow a more systematic approach to understanding, evaluating and communicating Service Design’s contribution to Service Innovation and New Service Development processes.
This study will inform a workshop-based multidisciplinary and international discussion that will question and position Service Design’s contribution and impact into NSD processes and identify knowledge gaps and research potentials to enhance Service Design integration and contribution to service innovation.
