Ageing Playfully: Inspiring ways to work with people with dementia

We are delighted to forward information about the next C4AR seminar: ‘Ageing Playfully: Inspiring ways to work with people with dementia’ which will be a half day seminar on Wednesday 7th June 2017 at Lancater University.
We have two excellent speakers who will present their work in research with and support for people with dementia using play: Prof. Cathy Treadaway, Professor of Creative Practice from Cardiff Met University and John Killick, author of ‘Dementia Positive’.

The speakers will present their research and experience of play with people with dementia:

Prof Cathy Treadaway: Cardiff Metropolitan University – ‘Playful artefacts for Dementia’
and  John Killick – Author of ‘Dementia Positive’ and ‘Playfulness and Dementia’

Following the presentations there will be an interactive session with playful artefacts and an opportunity for discussion.
